The website will be able to respond to market shifts within 15 minutes, making it just as efficient as standing in a showroom. The template is part of IBM WebSphere Commerce, which will also manage customer requests and scheduling for car repairs and servicing over the web.
The system will also be connected to Mazda’s distribution center, making the process automated and less error-prone, as well as making deliveries more efficient and timely.
Dealers will be able to access an online catalog of more than 8,000 products and accessories, constantly updated by Mazda. Payments will be a breeze, as PayPal and UPS will be used for transactions – familiar options for most online shoppers.
