Halloween is a time for tricks and treats, but almost every household that celebrates the holiday ends up with a stockpile of candy that goes unconsumed. Our team at Ingram Park Mazda is hoping to spread the Halloween treats across the community to give those in need a chance to enjoy the sweet side of the season. From local food banks to our troops overseas, there are several places and people open to receiving candy hauls from our trick-or-treaters this year.

Soldiers’ Angels Treats for Troops 2016

If local groups or businesses are looking a way to collect all of their kids’ candy, they can organize a Treats for Troops event through Soldiers’ Angels. The organization will help folks easily register for an event online. It will share where to ship the candy once it has been collected, and in some cases, Soldiers’ Angels will be able to distribute the candy locally. All varieties of candy are welcome – miniatures, bagged, full-sized and loose. Donations are accepted up until December 11. To get involved, simply register online by filling out this form.
