The 2009 Mazda6
The summer of 2008 just got a whole lot brighter with the much anticipated arrival of the all-new MAZDA6. One look and you'll immediately see why. The exquisite craftsmanship and well-balanced, attractive styling is set-off with a sporty, sophisticated flare, sure to captivate and indulge your senses. The 2009 MAZDA6 is the first of Mazda's "Zoom-Zoom Evolution" second-generation vehicles, building on a heritage of sports sedans and sports cars that no other manufacturer can boast.
Superior Performance
The 2009 MAZDA6 will be available with two engine options: an all-new Mazda-designed and developed MZR 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and a powerful 3.7-liter V6. Choose between a 6-speed manual or 5-speed Sport AT with manual-shift mode on the 4-cylinder, or a 6-speed Sport AT with manual-shift mode for the V6. The drive-train is supported by an all-independent suspension with standard 4-wheel disc brakes, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). The MAZDA6 also features the signature balance, dynamics and on-road feel all Mazdas are known for – but with unparalleled reductions in road noise and vibrations – that set the MAZDA6 apart from its competition.
Exclusively Designed for North America
The all-new MAZDA6 has been precisely designed and engineered specifically for the North American market to take on some of the best in the industry. The 2009 North American MAZDA6 is larger inside and out, and features unique styling and a more powerful engine than the similarly-named car selling elsewhere in the world. It will be available only as a four-door sedan in three trim levels – Sport, Touring and Grand Touring, with varying levels of standard and optional equipment. Additional details including specifics on engine output, trim levels, equipment and pricing will be released over the next few months, so be sure to stay tuned to be one of the first to know.

NEW MAZDA2 THREE-DOOR HATCHBACK
One of the keys to Mazda’s continuing growth in Europe and around the world has been a strategy of expanding the line-up with exciting vehicles that appeal to an ever-wider group of customers. In less than two years, Mazda introduced vehicles that were never in its portfolio before, like the high-performance Mazda3 MPS, the unique power retractable hardtop MX-5 Roadster Coupe and the sports crossover SUV, Mazda CX-7. This strategy continues at Geneva 2008 with the global premiere of the first MAZDA2 three-door hatchback version.
Launched in October 2007 as Mazda’s first new-generation vehicle to be evolved to a new level, the all-new MAZDA2 was an immediate hit with European customers, finding more than 18,000 owners through January 2008. In December last year, MAZDA2 five-door hatchback was awarded five stars for adult occupant protection at Euro-NCAP crash testing. It won a host of automotive awards as well, including Car of the Year in Austria, Belgium, Croatia and Denmark. Now MAZDA2 is about to get more popular with a new three-door hatchback model that has all the award-winning attributes of the five-door hatchback, and is even sportier and more affordable.
